We stage two full operas with orchestra every year, run four choruses that provide performance opportunities, 和 offer you chances to perform in a wide variety of styles. M.M. in Vocal Performance Concentration
An entrance audition is required for admission to the 音乐硕士 program with Vocal Performance emphasis. The degree totals 36 credits, with courses in music literature, teaching, 和 performance. You’ll complete the degree with a public recital 和 an optional paper related to your recital piece, as well as diction proficiency examinations in German, French 和 Italian.

At UNC you’ll enjoy a wide range of performance opportunities both on- 和 off-campus. The School of 音乐 stages more than 200 cultural events a year, 和 our students have also sung with arts organizations such as Opera Fort Collins, the 格里利 Philharmonic, 和 the European Opera Program. At UNC you’ll build confidence, gain experience 和 获得. One of our jazz a capella groups received a Grammy nomination—the first ever bestowed on a college music group.
